ANALYTICAL LABORATORIES INSPECTION & MONITORING EXERCISE BY IPAN
Another wave of Nationwide Analytical Laboratory inspection and monitoring exercise by the Institute of Public Analysts of Nigeria commences with plan to cover over five states which include, Lagos, Ogun, Osun, FCT, Edo and others. A number of Analytical Laboratories were listed to be visited by the IPAN Laboratory monitoring & inspection team in respect of the exercise that commenced on Tuesday, 12th October and slated to spill over to the coming week. A major objective of the exercise is to ascertain the operational state of the laboratories as a yardstick for determining the quality of service rendered to the public. Also, sectorial operational challenges can be identified for timely intervention which may include reaching out to the appropriate authority for a better, customized business friendly policy forthe sector. The IPAN Registrar, Mr. Aliyu A. Angara in a show of leadership sometimes personally lead the monitoring team to the field. This rare leadership display communicates the importance of the exercise to all and sundry as well as serves as morale boosterto the monitoring team.
