Members of the Institute are spread over many public and private organisations. Examples are the Federal and State Ministries, Higher Institutions, Manufacturing Sectors, Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON), National Agency for Food and Drugs Administration and Control (NAFDAC), Raw Material Research and Development Council (RMRDC), Federal Institute of Industrial Research (FIIRO) etc.

IPAN had Memorandum of Understanding with National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) and Standard Organisation of Nigeria (SON).
